| Important Adult Leader Application Change
The Boy Scouts of America have made a few changes to the application process. The largest of which is a new Disclosure/Authorization form regarding background checks for adult leaders. The new adult leader application has a new page that MUST BE SIGNED by the applicant and submitted WITH the application. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, we will not be able to process any application without the Disclosure/Authorization form attached. Here are some important links:
Please return all stashes of adult leader applications you and or your unit have to make sure that in the future the correct form is being used.

| Friends of Scouting Update
 Chesapeake District,
Congratulations on another great FOS campaign. We (and by we I mean you) have reach 100% of our FOS goal. And we hit it at the end of May. What a great effort was pushed out right at the end of the month to close this campaign strong.
Again, congratulations to you all. I can't wait to see the Chessie Patch Design for next years FOS.

| Drive for 5
This will be the last year that the Baltimore Area Council will be offering the Drive for 5 incentive to our Packs. Remember the number is derived from 5% more then what you ended December 07 with (not what you rechartered with… yes you have to replace all those that bridged, yes inactive scouts count against you…).
